Little Ralphie was so traumatized by the pink bunny outfit, he grew up to be a super villain scientist. This is a subtle nod that homemade clothing from aunts and/or grandmothers are a terrible burden on society as well as the children. Oh, won’t someone PLEASE think of the children!
Here I am in Safari, just for you, buddy. 😉 Seriously though I LOVE this one. And so agree. Unless it was custom-tailored to the kid’s own design, please, please refrain! Donate your crafts to strangers, don’t give them to loved ones! I can understand the temptation though. Have given handmade things myself. lol.
p.s. I am SURE that the lack-of-like-and-comment-buttons glitch happens when you schedule a post. Then it somehow fixes itself over time, as the post ripens to some WP-determined full maturity. Just my two eurocents. xo n

I didn’t recognize him at first, my wife did. But when I backed it up to see I was like, “RALPHIE!”
That’s an interesting theory, about the glitch happening when things are scheduled. I’ll have to try posting something straight to see if that makes a difference. If it does I’ll have something to go to WordPress with.
We’ll get this yet!

Funny, “like” doesn’t even work from Safari for me now. (Used to be only Chrome with that prob.) Will have to wait till the post “ripens” in the WP Reader. :)) Also, “notify me of new comments via email” didn’t work either, FYI; though I ticked the box. Had to come back to check. I did look in junk mail, nothing there. This is the same for other WP blogs with the same problem (my blogging friend at bernie.ie had the same troubles).
Sweet that the movie detail was a team effort with your wife. You guys are so cute. 🥰🥰

You know, I met with a friend last weekend. I hadn’t seen him in three or four months. He asked me if I was still writing on my blog. I thought that was weird because he’s subscribed by email. I guess he’s having the same problem.

And now, voilà, it’s available in Reader to like and love and comment upon. 17h after posting (at my current viewing, or possibly sooner, of course.
Yes, I’m pretty sure that’s the reason, in the case of your friend. It was the same for me with Bernie’s site. Gitchy, glitchy! I don’t think WP can do anything about it, or they would have already (enough people have the problem). If I were you I would either not schedule the posts, or else I would just expect no likes/comments in the first day or so… which may mean never, as the post slides down the Reader feed, with the passage of time. 🙄😞🧐🙃🙂

Oh damn, sorry, actually those buttons still don’t show in reader view. It’s that I did get a WP reader notification of your comment reply, this time, which enables me to respond to the post in the reader. But in the list view, still no star or comment. Sorry for all these cluttery comments. Just delete them all if you want. 🙂

It’s all good. I think I’ll leave them up in the off chance maybe someone knows how to fix the problem. Long shot, I know. But eh. . . Who knows.

Sounds good to me. That’s what I would do too.
