In the underground base, McDermott (Jarlath Conroy) and John (Terry Alexander) live in a trailer out in the caverns dubbed “The Ritz.” Initially I thought this was an ironic reference to the swanky Ritz-Carlton hotels. Actually, it refers to the buttery crackers. This is because the trailer was originally McDermott’s and he is a honky.
